x350 insurance

I have had progressive and they have always given me good rates. I priced an xjr x350 that was just a little more then my STR which is what I ended up getting but I have been quoted a little bit cheaper for my STR through State Farm but it wasnt a trastic enough difference to leave progressive (under 5 bucks a month) since I've been with them for 12 years.

Shop around but be VERY aware of the values they will offer you! The REDBOOK values most insurers go buy here are nowhere near reality/true market value.
I was with Shannons until they lost the plot and dropped their market values. Now changed to the RACV here in VIC and am paying for the maximum agreed value they will offer me with a high excess! No other choice.

I have since changed my two Triumph's with them as they were miles cheaper than Shannons. The girl at Shannons was very truthful and told me she had seen many leave and go to LSV!
RACV have since had an about face and offered me an agreed value of $50,000 for the STR for about $940. LSV had too many restrictions about annual kms, where parked etc. And if I remember could not offer me a $50,000 agreed value. I do have a $2,000 excess on the RACV policy. This suits me as theft is what I feel is the major problem. And judging by the classifides its hard to find a good STR here for under $45-50,000.
