Spanners i have...handy im hmmm not so much ! I have managed to get the head off (took me 3 days in 44 deg heat). sent it to Perth to get done, so hopefully will be back on the road in a couple of weeks. Oh by the way, im the only person in town with a jag, and no there aint a mechanic in town thats interested in even looking at it, so i guess im in for a steep learning curve

Good luck with that! I used to do my own stuff with Mk III Cortinas, but after I first peered into an XJS engine bay.. Never gone near an engine since..
