Hi, this is Donna my username is jetlag700 and I am a member from Edmonton, I own two Jaguars, an 88 XJS-black and an 87 XJ6-gun metal or tungsten grey. I have posted pics of my XJS.
We should start a club in both cities.

After straying away from the dealer, have had success with
British Auto on the one occasion I needed them. They have a website at www.britishauto.ca. Jay and his wife don't run a fancy shop, but the customer comes first and they show genuine concern with the performance of my car.

I heartily agree! As it is, Jaguar Calgary is the only dealership in the province. So if you live outside of Calgary, you're going to be putting lots of extra miles on your Jag to get service from a dealership. Then potentially add on any extra travel needed when the service is done poorly or if the workmanship is so bad it possibly causes other component failures. I sure could think of a million other places I would rather be driving my Jag rather than back and forth to the dealer and paying the repair bills on top it.

You're right, there is according to the Jag Canada website. I know of a Jag owner who travels to Calgary from Edmonton to have his service and repairs done at British Auto. So I had assumed that there was no longer an Edmonton dealer, but there must be another reason for such a personal sacrifice.

Thep - can you ask the Jag owner who travel to Calgary for service at British Auto what he's had done? Engine work, suspension? I had my Jag polished there and was happy with the work, but I want to ensure they give great results on the mechanical side as well, so would like his input..Thx!
