I'm considering ECU tuning with Eurocharged located at 300 Supertest Rd.
Curious if anyone with the base F-type have upgraded to the S? Did you experience the 42HP/36TQ gains promised? Also, does the lack of the limited slip differential matter when you get the extra TQ? How was Eurocharged to deal with?

Hi, I had my S-type R tuned at eurocharged, and I"m pretty happy with the results, running great for 3+ years now on the tune... Their service is great, and it's great that they're local!
You would have to do some dyno-testing to verify what sort of gains you'll make, 40hp is likely an estimate at the crank, so peak gains at the wheels will likely be 15-30hp range?
But you can't judge a tune by peak numbers alone, generally these tunes make their best gains in response and mid-range power, so it will certainly feel better and faster to drive...
Feel free to join www.jaguardrivers.ca as we have a lot of local Toronto area F-type owners in our group! Can give you plenty of modding advice!

You will need to get some hardware upgrades to realize such gain. I suggest following Unhingd lead with pulleys and high-flow cats if this is your goal and you are willing to do dyno-based tune.
Lack of LSD makes it more tail-happy and traction kicks-in earlier, you won't notice the difference unless the car is pushed to the limit with traction off.
Also, don't forget to upgrade tires. Stock Zeroes are absolute garbage for anything but commuting.
