Default Any good scenic routes near the GTA (Greater Toronto Area)?

Having just recently acquired my XF, I would like to get better acquainted with the car. So maybe a road where there's some twisties and little traffic. Anyone know of any good places to go for a ride? Not speed, just a good road to get a feel of the handling on the car.

Take a Sunday morning drive up to the Forks of the Credit then head to the Millcroft Inn for brunch. Should be beautiful this weekend with foliage in full fall colours.

My wife and I love driving in the the Belfountain, Terra Cotta area which is between Gergetown and Caledon. Beautiful scenery and a lot of twisty roads.

Hockley Valley has a nice windy road and anywhere SW of Collingwood is very nice, lots of valleys.

I find that the escarpment area in Milton is very nice. Some good winding roads right around that area and it's not too far from the core of the city.

+1 on the escarpment around Milton. Rattlesnake Point is a favorite for me around there. If you have all day, carry on along the escarpment towards Niagara wine country which is always nice on a summer or fall day. Ridge Road runs along the top of the escarpment just south of Stoney Creek and on a clear day, there are places where you can see out across the lake towards toronto with the CN Tower clearly visible. The QEW is always close at hand to speed you home after a nice day out too. A final favorite - there is a short but sublime stretch of lakeshore road between Dunville and Port Colborne. I plan on exploring more of the north shore of lake erie this summer based on that "discovery" late last year.
