Ok guys - I'm in! I'll be at the meet tomorrow in Woodbridge. Let's make sure we get a good showing of Jags there as a "sidebar" to their meet. Looking forward to checking out the FLU.
Who else is in?
Where are we going to park?
Is there a Tim's handy? I'm buying!
Hope to see you all there!

I say, this is getting good!
We will see you there, I am only 50/50 about taking my red car.
If I do not show up in a Jag we will be in a gold VW Passat estate car.
(That's a station wagon to the North Americans.)
We will park on the west fringes this would put us approximately in the area where we would be in front of the steak house which is across the road. I will hope to be there first around 630 to 7 PM.
BTW!!! Do bring wives and S/O's my wife will never miss a car event and it is a strip mall after all.

I know I won't be in the Jag tonight sadly, she is not on the road yet for the summer.
I have a late meeting downtown but if I get out before 6:30-7, I will head up.
I will be in my thoroughly unexciting company car...white Impala.
If not I will be good to go next time!
This is about one of about three nights a year I ever have a dinner meeting...figures.

Glad to hear from you Spitfire, we made the monthly Jag club meeting this past wednesday and every intent to be in Woddbridge on Thursday.
I got stuck at work until 7PM and it takes over an hour to get home.
BUT!!! The XJS is running GREAT! All techno problems are solved andthe wodbrige meet is on for next Thursday and if you have an older or classic Jag their is another meet this Monday the long weekend. The church parking lot at the corner of Bayview and Steeles . I will post later on this...watch this space.

Hey guys! I was at the FLU meet again yesterday. Aside from the Fiats, it appeared to be Ferrari and Aston Martin night and let me tell you, that 2010 Aston Martin Vantage is an absolutely gorgeous car. But I'm not sold on the $800 oil changes
Another phenomenal car there last night was the 1971 Lamborghini Espada.
What I also learned this time around is that the first Thursday of every month is the official FLU meet and is the largest by and far each month, although they do meet every Thursday. I'm going to be there on June 3rd and I think we need to have a good showing of Jags there! So come on boys, lets make a point of being there on the 3rd of June and lets have a Jaguar section. Are you in?
I took some pictures last night, but I forgot my good phone and had to settle with my iPhone. Hope you like them!

Euro Sunday Tomorrow
YES!!! Spitfire you are a good man!!
I posted on the social group that I would not make it this time. Highly unusual for me to miss Thursday night. Next Thursday we are on! We do hope to see you there again. I have seen that Espada before and it is Luscious!
I must point out though that the Italians do not have the market cornered on bright red-two seat-convertible-12 cylinder-sport cars. See me next week for in the metal illustration. All Jag owners and lovers be proud!
And one more thing here, Sunday MAY 22nd at 10 AM 9200 Weston Rd is Euro Sunday! That is Tomorrow BTW!!!
This is short notice and I have three sets of technical drawings to do before Tuesday for work...and I really shouldn't but I have been waiting and I do think I will!
Well GTA Jaguars? What of it then, any interest?
It is a Tim Hortons parking lot and there is a Dominion Store as the main store in this plaza. It is "over" at about 12:30 PM and may culminate in a "drive" now until you have paraken in such a drive you have not experienced the thrill of being in a neet car.
See you there??? Once again introduce yourself, I am in a signal red '89 XJS convertible with a very attractive blonde in the passenger seat.
This would be Mrs V12, mother to our four teenaged children, (so please be kind to us LOL)
JustV12!
P.S.
Also I am extending invites to all Jaguar events via this forum. More in another post.

Further to the previous post This coming Monday eve starting at about 5 PM the seasonal premier of the "Thornhill Cruisers" meeting is in the parking lot of Bayview Glen church at the corner of Bayview and Steeles ave (north east corner).
This is largely a hot rod cruise in event but there is also lots of old euro cars as well. My XJS will be on display.
If I can get the upload to work someday I will post pics.
Can't promise but there is an older chap named Colin who is from either cape town or Jo-burg S.A. He has one of the ONLY Daimler conquest convertibles you will ever see on this continent. It is original and he has owned it since the '50s. It has been all over Africa and visited countries that no longer exist (Rhodesia for one).
I do very much look forward to seeing Colin and hope (but don't know) to see him and many others at this WEEKLY meet during the summer.

Last post for today!
Ok then I have posted a veritable plethoraof information concerning meets. None of which are exclusively Jaguar events and I have advocated a bit of friendly hijacking for our purposes here.
Eric? Are you still reading this? I hope to see you at something really soon.
You are in fact indirectly responsible for the existance of the social group "GTA Jaguars" aftre all.
Last post I will do for now is EXCLUSIVELY Jaguar for direct particiaption but there is room for other Brit cars to enter the grounds and all other makes relegated to the outer mongolia parking lot.
This being the "Jaguar Owners Assocition Ontario" (JOAO) Concours de'elegance coming up on Saturday June 13th.
This will be in the Ontario Science Centre parking lot
I am to be one of the judges for this event and I will be crawing into, over, under and around some of the best examples of vintage Jaguars on this continent. This is a JCNA sanctioned event. (Jaguar Clubs of North America)
You can find out more on the OJOA website http://www.ojoa.org/ .
I also invite you all to join us for some great drives and events this summer. Tell them JustV12 sent you!
