Looking forward to some of the meets,

I would like to attend the science center jaguar concours event you are organizing, is there some registration necessary? Or do I just show up in the Jag and I'm allowed in?

- - -

I might be at "la paloma" this thursday night, anyone else going?

Attention all active GTA members, if you're interested in attending a meet and/or scenic cruise, please reply to this thread so I can get an idea of how many of us are out there!

Would love to attend that concours event, but I'm away in Montreal that weekend

I'm located in Hamilton but work in Brampton, always down to cruise the Jag on a nice weeknight or weekend. As long as you guys are okay hanging out with a 'kid' (I'm 23), let me know and we'll grab a pint

Well, it looks like I am not at La Paloma tonight either...wow it seems like its been a while.. Anyway registration is easy you can do it the day of, but I want to get as many preregistrations as possible because we have a fabulous catered meal to enjoy and I want to know how many will come to that as well.

By the way, I will get into more detail with this but joining the OJOA which you can do when you register is a worth while deal.

I will post here the details I hope by tonight. I am going to chat with the membership director to see what we can do to roll it into one big fun deal for you.

SO watch for it here..

Duane

Tomorrow I will have the info for the Concours!

Meanwhile see you in Ancaster, those who are going. Look for me by asking at the OJOA booth. I will probably not be there but they will know where to find me.

I did say tomorrow didn't I?
Well as I posted on the concours thread, Can't believe I have to keep you all waiting here.
But it will be worth it for sure. I am waiting for last minute changes to be finalized...... These include prices as we may have some changes from last year. It may actually be cheaper???

Also!!!!
We are working on getting the F-Type and some new model Jags to appear.
I am sure I heard an exec say...."OK we will"
But I have to make him repeat it, so bear with me.

F-Type means "Fun-Type"

Excellent! We need some meets outside of Toronto, because driving into the Big Smoke on a weekday is a major pain. Which makes me question; what's with all car clubs having their meets during the week? What's wrong with weekends?

Hello Patient people:

First the good news is I think the prices have been kept in line with last year, in spite of a massive loss on the part of the club. Hey, we do this for fun right?
We have a professionally catered meal which is costing us about $70 a head, your price just $50!
I highly recommend that meal as it is always incredible, but you must reserve and send a cheque before June 10.

Preregistration is saving five bucks a car but I suggest that if you want to come the bast bargain is to join the club.

I am going to post the link to the club website and let you see all the official garble in full. But I want to make clear that this concours has some nice top national champion cars that attend. Then there are cars like mine with bucket loads of flaws and are driven every day. So, DO NOT be put off by the official talk. Its just official talk.
Our concour event is really a lot of work for us but a lot of fun for the participants

Here is the link:

Ontario Jaguar Owners Association Online

Now also note that if you just want to come to display your car you are in very good company. We get dozens of display cars sometimes and it is a sight unto itself. So, click the link and join us on the 23rd.

I will try to get to any PMs with any questions.

Cheers!

Yup, not too fond of weekday night meets as workdays are early rise for me,

With that said, I will keep everyone informed of an upcoming west-end cars'n'coffee and country drive, and it will likely fall on a saturday or sunday early afternoon...

justv12, thanks for the info, i'll be registering,

Yo, Kannan,

Glad to hear you've joined the club... welcome, welcome...

I am still in the process of organizing a west-end jag event, small meet and scenic drive.

Where in the GTA are you located?

Are weekends good for you? Do you prefer saturday, or sunday mornings?

Hi GT42R,

Thanks for the warm welcome. I live at Milton but flexible with the meetup location. Weekends would be great. Again, flexible with Sat or Sun any time.
