Calling all Toronto-Area Jag's, 2014 meets!
Now organizing meets for local Jaguar owners and enthusiasts in the Greater Toronto Area,
The meets will follow a cars'n'coffee format, followed by a scenic drive along a predetermined route.
2013 was our first year organizing and hosting meets. Let's make 2014 a major year for our club!

At the very least, we will be doing a British Car Day related meet and drive this year again for sure!
I would like to rally the troops for a meet this spring or coming in the summer for sure!

I don't own a car any more so guess I will have to let this go and just wish you all good weather. This will be the first year out of the last nine that I have not shown a car at British car day in Bronti. What a bummer.

Would be nice to organise some sort of 'run' from the GTA to Niagara to have residents from all points between join in. Of course it would likely be a longer run for the GTA residents but on the right day would be a beautiful outing.
If it comes to fruition, and a route being established I'm sure you'd see other Jag owners from here joining in once their area has been reached.
Many of non-highway scenic routes to take advantage of from GTA/Hamilton to Niagara.
I'm sure my wife and I could arrange a stop at our home in St.Catharines for food and drinks. After that we could head down the lakeshore into Old Niagara-on-the-Lake with nearby wineries and old stores. Possibly a stop at Rob Laughton's Jaguar 'farm' (if he's home) if anyone needs parts for their Jag as he has about 30 jag part's cars from the 80s to the 90s.
I could always write up a mock itinerary if there's enough interest in a GTA to Niagara run, if not I suppose I could orchestrate one for our area.

Now that is a great idea! I love this kind of input!
Something inclusive of all our members in the wider southern ontario region would be ideal! A trip to/through the Niagara region, with a few scheduled stops in between sounds like the framework for a scenic-rally' for us Jaguars...
Bob: pick up an aston or something and you're more than welcome to keep coming around!
Mulmur: Sounds sweet, I hope to see it out this year; I have a buddy at work who is picking up his F-type R coupe at the end of the month...

Where you gonna park ?
A trip down to Niagara On The Lake sounds great, some lovely shops etc.
But every time I go down there for a pleasant drive or theatre, I spend an hour just finding a parking space. Cant cram Jags in just anywhere.
I'm just north of Uxbridge, and would enjoy the cruise.
