I posted this question in more detail on the F type forum area.
Having done a bit of research on clear films for paint protection I am leaning towards X pel ultimate or Suntek .. anyone with experience using these protections?
The other question is which area to protect.. I am thinking of the entire hood, front end and possible the front of the fenders. Next the rocker panels and behind the rear wheels. The F type R seems to have a lot of frontal area exposed. I live on a dirt/gravel road and its a 5 minute, slow drive to the paved roads so rocker protection is a necessity.
Just wondering if anyone had any thoughts around area of coverage.. the wrap is expensive so few people wrap the whole car.

At our shop we use the 3-M product with no problems , but as to the coverage look at the areas down low to be done for corrosion protection (areas the wheels can throw rocks at), the leading edges on the front of the car and mirrors if they are body color for cosmetic protection. One area we are noticing a lot of damage on that is not often thought of is the leading edge of the roof right where it meets the windshield trim and depending on the vehicle style back a couple of inches as well. Hope this helps
