Hi from a new member with a '19 F-type R AWD. Have a ? about service req's on a lease
Currently leasing a '19 F-Type R AWD Coupe.
Love the car.
I'm getting conflicting info on what's covered for scheduled maintenance. Apparently in Canada it's only the 1st year service that Jaguar covers and expires at some time?
More importantly I guess after that, can someone PLEASE help direct me to where I can find the minimum service requirements to not get penalized on lease turn-in?
Can I service at any Non-Jaguar service station?
Just want to cover my butt and have obviously been given biased opinions from the Jaguar dealership service agents.
Thanks!!!!!!

Yes, in Canada you only have first oil change included. Warranty is also shorter.
Can you tell me why are you not willing to take it to the dealer for service?
To answer your question - you can service your car anywhere, even yourself, but may be asked to show documentation showing change interval, correct filter and correct engine oil used. If you take it to a quick-oil change, it is guaranteed they won't have correct oil spec. The engine oil must meet SAE 0W20 STJLR.51.5122. Castrol EDGE Professional is one example of engine oil that would meet this spec, but there are others.
