Default I am now Jagless

For the first time in nearly 30 years I am now totally Jagless. The new owner came and picked up my last remaining Jag this morning and drove it home to Ottawa with a smile on his face all the way. Phoned me tonight telling me how thrilled he is with the car and how impressed he was with the gas mileage he got.

I am sorry the car has gone because I really enjoyed having it. I just did not get that much time to drive and enjoy it myself so could not see any sense in just having it sit in my garage looking pretty.

An Ford F350 turbo diesel dually and a 36 ft Travel trailer. We are now going camping. I have had as many as seven Jaguars at one time which my wife swore I was married too. Thought I should spend some time with her now to make up for all the times she had lost me in the garage.

Well that sounds like a great way to travel and see the country. We augmented the fleet this year with boat, trailer and tow vehicle (Lincoln SUV) so we're seeing the country from the wet side.

Happy trails to you, don't be a stranger!

I am lucky to already have a boat before we bought this rig. However if I towed that behind the truck/5th wheel trailer which on its own measures 53 Ft long, I would be adding another 25 ft to that. Not sure that would be so easy to handle. Would be nice to be able to take it along with us though.

BCD quite possibly but the OJOA never unless they get rid ofJohn Taglioni and Bob Barrett. I had been a member of the OJOA club since1990 and they now have me banned for life from attending any OJOA events. Been that way since 2004 after a disagreement between us. Incidentally all those that have spoken up and supported me have also since been banned from the club themselves.

OJOA used to have a thriving membership of around 287 when I was a member and now they are just scraping through with around 150. Most of the good guys now belong to another club they have formed themselves in the Brampton area. They build and race Jaguars as a club activity. Others belong to the Eastenders club based here in Oshawa. Two others are members at large in JCNA and are affiliated to no particular Jaguar club.

Sorry to hear the Jag has gone. I had a stretch of five years in the last forty without one but they dragged me back!

Good to hear the new owner is happy with the X350 and had the courtesy to let you know.

Enjoy the travel.

Graham

Bob,
You may not remember me but you and I both got on the wrong side of GP a while ago. Sorry to hear you are without Jaguar. Perhaps someone will come along and make you a deal you can't refuse. I'm thinking of selling my Coupe for similar reasons. A belated Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you and yours. Dave

Dave not sure I know who GP is. I get on the wrong side of so many people it is hard to keep them all straight in my mind. Anyway you have a really Happy new year yourself.

Well I would not call myself a rebel. Its just that I am very outspoken. I speak my mind and I speak the truth. People cannot seem to handle that. Something Dave is well aware of.

BTW thanks Dave for the PM I fully understand now and agree with you.
