I imported my Jag XF 2012 from USA a few weeks ago. Does anyone have experience with the transfer of warranty and platinum coverage? How does it work exactly? I called the dealer but they've not yet responded on this issue.

 

Sorry to say but I don't think warrantee transfer work well between countries. Jaguar seems not to be so thrilled about cars being purchased in the States and bought back here. Obviously don't want us to share the same discounted price that the Americans can buy these cars for.

 

I brought my 08 Xkr in from S/C to BC Canada same warranty as yours and have had it in twice with no problems with waranty, just make sure you have reg in your name with Jag Canada, then you will be in the system at all the dealers. Hope this helps. BL.
