Hey folks, anyone in the SW Ontario or Canada for that matter, looking for a used 5.0 supercharged engine for my xkr knocking and engine is pooched. Only 120km’s. Sad

 

Define “knocking”. Why do you think you need a new engine and not an overhaul? How did you break your engine?
Did you try the breakers network at car-parts.com?

 

At first like a ticking noise, so I thought maybe timing chain, but then it became a louder knocking. My mechanic found metal shavings in there like the rod was chewed up. Anyway long story short got an engine from the states, arrived yesterday and the install begins. Wish me luck!
