Drying your car
#41
Just had the car detailed by a show car specialist. He gave me two good tips, one I have already used. For drying, he said electric leaf blower is the only way to go. The other was regarding bugs (one in fact I picked up on the way back from the (two day) detail. He said if you get a bug on the finish. Soak a microfiber cloth in hot water, wring it out and lay it over the spot for ten minutes. After that it comes right off. No scratches. I tried it and it works like magic.

Doesn't seem like it would be an issue on this Forum in general but don't use a leaf blower any where near any breaks or chips in the clear coat......the voice of experience from using it on our old 'dog car' '93 Land Rover....it blows off a lot more clear coat.
That will teach me for washing it.
