Default Meguiars Ultimate Quik Detailer - changed formula?

I've been using Meguiar's Ultimate Quick Detailer for many years and noticed that the last bottle I bought was a bit different (updated design) and the product feels different than before. Now it smells slightly different and is a bit harder to apply and buff off than before... it feels kind of sticky when applying it and takes a bit more force to get the residue off. That said maybe it's a bit more durable than before. Did anyone else notice this difference too?

New bottle to the left and old bottle to the right:

I’ve been using the attached below on my new to me ‘15 Lunar Gray XKR. it works great. I wouldn’t use it for caked on dirt. But, it’s been great for general dust, bird crap, squashed bugs, etc. it’s easy to remove, leaves no residue, and I’ve not scratched it yet.
