Pinnacle- my head is spinning
Pinnacle making thigns difficult intentionally? I want great products to give my Jag that same shine as the day I took delivery of ‘er. Every time I think I’ve found what I need, more products pop up and I scratch my head wondering “Do I need this too or is what I got good enough?”
So far, I’ve narrowed it down to what I think I need at this stage. My Jag is brand new so there’s not a ton of issues to fix on ‘er.
I’m looking to buy their Souverän Sizzling Shine Kit which has the basics for washing & waxing
As I did marr my C pillars and they are a mess, nothing TOO bad I don’t think that a good afternoon of elbow grease won’t cure. So I added their Polishing Pal Combo (I’m too nervous to try a power tool this early on with no experience detailing to this degree)
Then I want the Ultra Poly Clay and of course, the Clay Lubricant.
Do I need more than this? For a basic wash, wax and swirl removal to start? I can see it’s rather easy to break the bank and buy the entire lot.
I’ve learnt my lesson. I bought a gross of microfibre cloths, I got a thick waffle weave blotter to dry my Jag and threw those god awful chamois out. The may have worked on a Mustang and my Trans Am back in the day-that isn’t ever going to see my XJ again.
My head is swirling after a few hours going through their web site. I need a glass of wine.
Looks like I have the basics covered here and the swirl removal?
Anybody have any other thoughts. Really like what I’ve seen of Pinnacle products.
So confusing.
Thanks for any help…

For imperfections in the paint, the best results can be obtained with either Meguires 250 or Menzerna 3500 "3-in-1" and an orange medium polishing pad. I use Pinnacle Finishing Polish with a black pad after the Megs or Menz to clear up any buffing marks or holograms, then follow it up with a sealant or ceramic coating. I like Pinnacle's Crystal Mist detailing spray wax for shine/additional protection after a wash which is really good stuff.
