I'm a new member and appreciate the chance to ask this question of a professional detailer as well as other Jaguar owners. I'm the new owner of a 2000 XK8 with black interior. I'd like to clean and recondition the seats, especially as the side bolsters of the leather seats are showing some cracking. I was wondering if anybody had product recommendations that don't include a steamer? I have read about a product line called Leatherique and wonder if anybody has an opinion to share. Also, would you recommend trying to clean them myself vs. going to a professional, or would I be better off having them done first by a professional and then maintaining them myself?
Thanks for your feedback!

Why not drop by the new members section and add an intro for yourself? It lets others know you're around and is considered good forum etiquette.
As for your question?
I'm sure I've heard of that product before, but unfortunately cannot remember much, other than it got a good write up if I remember correctly. Me personally, with a car like that.....I'd take it to a pro and get it done right first time and then keep on top of it from there. I don't think it should cost mega bucks!
