Tech Question....Volumetric Efficiency

I was expecting a figure above 1 (usually below this for N/A cars)
Found somemore info here for airflow:-
Using this calculator to calculte VE
Engine Design Equations Formulas Calculator Volumetric Efficiency VE
and using
324.01 CFM (air flow rate taken from charts on Lion V6 engine here and converted from g/min to CFM)
165.98 CID (engine size cubic inches)
4250 rpm (as thats where the redline is on the rev counter)
brings a VE figure of 1.59

Its for one of the settings in a track recorder app that I use so the boost reads as accurately as possible when showing the boost gauge on my tablet via bluetooth from the obdii transmitter
The app is called Torque OBD 2 engine diagnostics — Torque
It is an excellent app as it overlays data (eg green when accelerating/red when braking and so much more) onto a map showing speed etc as well as reading dtc fault codes, putting gauges up on display while videoing runs,1/4 mile times,0-60 times,BHP,sensor data, etc., etc.
Next meet is Saturday at Santa Pod (Santa Pod III on the UK forum) for another 'Run What Yer've Brung' day.
