I tried to replace my expired AT&T microSIM card
The Google satellite map & WiFi services that came with my 2018 E-PACE expired. So, I thought that I could renew/extend the service by contacting AT&T since that is the company that provided the microSIM card with the vehicle. After being referred to three or four different sections of AT&T I was finally told that I needed to contact the vehicle manufacturer (i.e. Jaguar). When I contacted Jaguar North America I was instructed to contact whichever mobile phone company I desired. Since I had already contacted AT&T and it wasn't any help I decided to contact Verizon Wireless. Verizon bounced me around to a few people and finally I found a person who stared that Verizon's "device" is compatible with my E-PACE. When the "device" arrived I was shocked to see that it was comprised of far more than a microSIM even though that was what I had insisted on purchasing. Rather, what I got was something from HUM that plugged into the OBD port along with a speaker that clips onto the visor and a power cord. It is something from the 1980s! Big, bulky, requires a power cord that dangles from the visor, and it taps into all the data the vehicle has to offer when all I want to do was continue with HERE.com. My apologies for sharing this rant; however, if Verizon had told me the device isn't a microSIM card and wasn't a Verizon product but a third-party HUM, I'd have declined. Now I am stuck with having to pay a $50 return fee.

Yes, the device tracks the vehicle, driving habits, etc. According to the Terms and Conditions FCC regulations require all mobile devices to contain GPS tracking. ALL mobile devices.
Verizon will only accept mobile phone returns at its retail stores. Not devices like HUM. I've been instructed to return it via UPS and only then, along with a bunch of other conditions, if the UPC bar code is present. Verizon e-mailed me a return label.
