Low coolant - what kind of coolant?
Just got the low coolant light all of sudden on my 2018 E-Pace. Looking at the coolant tank levels, it looks like it’s definitely under the “Min” line. However it still looks like there’s plenty of coolant left in the tank, even if it’s under the line?
I’ve made an appointment to take it to the dealer tomorrow morning, but do need to drive tonight in the meantime - albeit only a short distance (~10-20 miles). Should I be worried?
Also for what it’s worth, when I first saw the light, I figured I’d just stop by a gas station and buy whatever coolant they sold to top it off. However doing some basic googling, it sounds like there’s all sorts of different coolants and mixing is a big no-no? Furthermore I can’t seem to find what kind of coolant I’m supposed to use on the E-Pace. Anyone know?

If unavailable, the following advice is given:
You have consulted a qualified technician (Brutal) who has given you precisely the same advice.

Hello,
I also had this problem, while driving in "the mountains" and the car going up & down, while driving down I got the warning on the dashboard. I then looked at the tank and saw the level was indeed very low, much lower than the "minimum" line. I can't remember what bottle I bought (I will look for you if you want when I'm in the car) but it was a specific coolant, I think pink or purple. I had to put more than 2L in the tank, and since then it hasn't moved anymore (and we're one year later).
The guy at the garage said it was because during the manufacturing of the engine, there was still air in the engine, and when driving the air went it bit by bit, and thus creating more space for the coolant.
