Would you buy/lease E-Pace again?

It has now been with the dealership since the 1st February (which is currently some 22 days ago now), and the feedback that we have had from the dealership is…. nothing!
The lack of communication is astounding for a company like JLR – and my experience to date is that I wish I had never bought the car in the first place and would never go near them again… ever!

I’m looking at a 2018 E Pace SE P200 AWD. So this thread’s been an interesting read. It has 65K klms on it & they’re asking $35K (AUD), which is around $20K cheaper than similar advertised cars. I’ll definitely be getting a thorough inspection done, & I’ll ask them to give special attention to the problems mentioned here. But if it checks out ok, I think it’ll make a good daily driver & a modern companion to my 67 Daimler V8. I’ll probably move on my Alfa if I buy it. I’m going to look at it this Saturday.

Thanks. Yeah it’s real sweet! It belonged to a FIFO mine worker (Fly In, Fly Out), who only used it for a local run around, when he was off work, & kept it covered & garaged when he was away. So it’s immaculate. It has a full service history, with nothing but regular services logged. & I managed to negotiate $5K, off the already low price. Making it around 60% cheaper than its 2019 purchase price. I’m over the Moon! I’m going to trailer it home today. Woo Hoo!

Discontinued??
Sorry if this isn’t quite the right thread, but I’ve enjoyed reading the thread as I’ve had the same question. Plus, this additional question..
I recently noticed the jaguar E Paces and have fallen in love! So I’m doing my deep dive into their reliability, vehicle issues, etc only to find out that they will be discontinued by the end of the year (2024). It figures that the first car I’ve been truly moved to buy in years is due to be discontinued. I’m wondering if anyone here is worried about long term vehicle support? Or if you know what that long term support will look like, can you comment on that here?

I think that the close ties with the LR brand should ensure that we will continue to receive support. The EPace uses the same platform and engines as the Evoque and I believe, the Discovery Sport and consequently parts are available and should continue to be so. Go on, you know you want one...

Here in Australia we have a law that compels car companies to guarantee at least ten years support for any vehicle they sell here. So I can’t see parts being a problem until at least the mid 2030s. And if I still own my car at that stage, & the safety ***** haven’t deemed me too old & feeble to drive, I’ll worry about it then.
