1969 xke - turning signals not working
Hi all,
I have a 1969 xke roadster and I'm currently having problems with the turning indicators.
Could this be a turning signal flasher(s)?
Any ideas on what's going on here or how to troubleshoot.
Thanks

- Hazards work
- Turning Indicators do not. This includes the dash indicator arrows not working, nor are the exterior signals. However, when the hazards are on and flashing, and you use the turning signal on the steering column the arrow indicators on the dash light up appropriately, but this has no effect on the exterior lights.

First question: do you have a volt/ohm meter and are you comfortable using it? If so, you can do some debugging and I can provide some (maybe helpful) advice. If not, there are 3 parts that could be at fault along with a loose wire, Check the flasher, it should have 4 wires attached, Check the hazard switch, it should have 5. If wiring looks good, replace the flasher first, it is the cheapest part. After that the hazard switch. It routs power to the flasher when it is off. Finally the flasher switch. Good luck with that, better to find a pro.
