Yeah right, ...way to many retirements as well, that rain just ruined the event at the beginning. Have you seen my post on the 2022 Rolex 24? I'm just over here in Orlando.
Hi Highhorse,
Yes, I just saw your post regarding this years Rolex 24. This year's race was the first time that I didn't attend in 40 years.
I already have my tickets and Porsche corral pass for the 2022 race. It would be great to organize a Jaguar owner's meet and greet even if just to share a coffee or drink or something.
Bill.
Keep me in mind, we could cheer a beer...hopefully my favorite German vendor (great guy) will be over by the band stage this year...love his food. He moved his shop from downtown Orlando over to Mt Dora now... The Backhaus | German Bakery & Deli ...but he doesn't serve leberkase, bratwurst, laugenbrezel, schnitzel sandwich, or currywurst at his shop, just from his vending trailer. Wonderful deserts and great deli items can be had at his shop.
Hi Ray,
OK, we should try to meet at the Rolex 24.
I'm sure that we'll post "Who is going to the Rolex 24" when the time comes. Hopefully we'll get to see some of the new LMDh class cars. See you at the 24.
Bill.
There was plenty of discussion about Tata committing to the LMDh program, but that's mostly speculation at this point, I think. Something along the lines of, "I'd heard about some interest from Tata in the LMDh class in 2023." The article I actually saw (and can't find again now...) listed them last among possibly interested manufacturers.
Anyway, were Tata to come in with this, I seriously doubt they'd call it a Land Rover...
