62 S1 rear brake pad choice

62 S1 rear brake pad choice
Have to replace the rear pads and need some guidance on a good, moderately price pad available in the US. I have 4.2 S1 calipers with the thicker rotor on the rear.I believe pads are the same as the 3.8 calipers. Ordered XKs Unltd pads and one didn’t have the rivets properly set so I question the quality control and will be sending them back. Was told Ferodo but can’t find them in the correct application. SNG has TRW, I think ceramic but haven’t talked to them yet. And British parts Northwest has TRW ceramics- both around $70/set of 4 pads.
Opinions, suggestions?

I had a quick look on the SNG Barratt USA web pages, and their rear pads for the Series 1 4.2 litre are $51. The photos shows them as looking pretty much as I remember on a Mark 2, so I don't think these will be ceramic. They have a "fast road use" set in Kevlar, but looking at them on the page, some work is likely needed to adapt them to your car,

Our standard pads (10821*/1) are made by TRW, we previously supplied other brands but found the quality was inconsistent - so we decided to stick with the best albeit they're slightly higher priced than most.
Alternatively we also offer a Kevlar pad made by EBC Brakes, these are for faster road / track use and provide a better 'bite' & improved braking especially once warm.
Hope this helps!
