Default Assembly Order

The painted body and bonnet for my 67 E-Type will be finished in the next month (or 2, or 3). I'm trying to determine the next steps. My initial thoughts were to install the drive train and suspension first to make it a roller. Then I was going to start installing the ancillary stuff like wiring hydraulic lines etc.

Does that make sense to everyone or are there things that should go in before the drive train and suspension?

Thanks for the input.

There are a few things I’d do first:
Install the two coolant and one vacuum steel line that run behind the firewall. They are tricky to get in place and nearly impossible with the engine installed.
install the long brake line and fuel line running under the body. The fuel line runs over the rear suspension.
Install the main wiring harness which comes in from the engine bay and runs behind the instrument panel.

Good advice, Thanks.

Speaking of vacuum pipes. What color are the vacuum pipe flanges on the firewall. I see lots of them in black.
