Bleeding The Clutch for my SIII

Bleeding The Clutch for my SIII
My '74 E Type clutch doesn't engage. The clutch fluid reservoir was empty. I filled it and need to bleed the clutch.
First, I jacked up the car, located the clutch slave, but the nipple is on top and I can't feel it or see it. I was then advised to try it from inside the car, so I pulled back the carpet on the passenger side of the tunnel and found a 3" and 2" access hole, and removed the rubber circle covers (see picture below). I can see the right and bottom side of the clutch slave, to the left and above the 2" hole, but again, can't see or feel the nipple. Of course I can't get my hand in the small hole.
I read how simple a job this is, but I cannot get to the nipple. Any ideas are greatly appreciated!
