Default Clutch friction point

I recently acquired a ’69 E-Type. The friction point on the clutch is very near the top. Clutch seems fine, shifts well and no slippage. Is this a sign that the clutch is going out or is there an adjustment that would make it engage at a more normal position or, hopefully, does nothing need to be done?

You can adjust the clutch - it's done on the slave rod.

I'd say yes, although not an expert. If it goes high enough, you could get slipping under load if it isn't engaging fully. It's easy to adjust - I'd google it up.
