Default Clutch Master Rebuild

Need help. I'm trying to rebuild the Clutch Master Cylinder for my 67 OTS but I can't get the #$%^& piston out. I took out the rod and C clip and I injected air from a compressor. The piston moves fine but hits the end and won't pop out. What am I doing wrong? Thanks for your input, Herb

Wow, I would have thought that with compressed air the piston would have shot out of the cylinder. I normally use a grease gun so it is a much more controlled push. But if there is something blocking the way... Is there an internal ring or maybe a lip on the leading edge of the cylinder? Is the piston coming out crooked?
Bill.
