Correct color

Hi all,
Can someone confirm the correct color for the stone guard in front of the AC and radiator on a 68 FHC. Is it supposed to be body color or black?

Bill, it was silver cad plated. Depending on how correct you want to be, you could consider zinc plating, faux cad paint or dull silver paint.

Billb44 correct for the actual grill but the frame was machine grey. Not sure if he was asking that or not.

Hi guys, thanks for the response and guidance. So, if I understood correctly; the frame should be machine gray (do you mean like hammerite finish?), and the actual grill is "zinc plated" or like finish?

Rustolum sells the correct color, it’s a grayish color with a green cast. I believe it’s called machine gray. I’m not home so I cannot confirm at this time. You can also check the JCNA website for the judging guide for a lot of finishes.
