First of many questions I suspect.....
Hey all,
Inherited my father's 1974 XKE. Its been sitting idle for literally 15 years so I'm beginning the step by step process of getting it ready to roll again. Question on fuel. My concern is what steps if any I need to take to ensure that I can run on unleaded fuel while avoiding any engine damage.
Any help is much appreciated.

The valve seats are hardened from the factory so no worries there.
Draining the whole fuel system of the sludge that has formed over 15 years is going to be your biggest task. The sump comes out of the fuel tank so that makes it easier. But you'll also need to rebuild the carbs.
Good luck and have fun. As they say on the YouTube Auto Resto Mod "Remember, it's never a problem. It's always a project."
