Default Free Windshield--No shipping--Must pick up

I have a windshield that was left at my house when I moved in. It is free to anyone that needs it, however I do not want to ship it and take the chance of it breaking. The windshiled is in great condition, no scratches or cracks.

the sticker on the windshield reads..........
Jaguar E Type Series 3 X525 Cabriolet 71-75...made in England

Is this the pic you're trying to post?

I grabbed it from your Photobucket album.

such a shame......I can only think it must be the " MUST COLLECT" part

What a waste, I'm sure there must be someone out there who would love this part!

Steve,

I'd really like to see offer from yetifed for the E-Type windshield get taken up.

He may not check to forum too regularly and as a new member you can't use the forum Private Message system to make direct contact.

I've sent him a PM. Let's see if we can get you together on this.

If it doesn't go, perhaps a link in the E-Type section is warranted.

It's too good just to go to scrap.

NM, I thought I was in the classifieds section.

@smachell,

Are you sure this windshield is right for you? The windshield is for a E-Type Cabriolet, but your vehicle info shows 1990 XJS.

I also have a 1971 2+2 E type hardtop.

Let me check my parts book when I get to the house this evening.

if it is correct, I will figure some way to get it picked up.

Many Thanks!

Steve.

Good Morning.

I am trying to make sure that this would actually fit my 2+2 Etype.

Just spoke to Jeremy at Pauls jag, I can't seem to match the mfg.

numbers to my car.

May I bother you for a height measurement of the windscreen?

The 2+2 E type should be taller than the regular series 3 e type.

Your offer is so generous, I don't want to take advantage if it won't fit my

car.

Many thanks, Steve.

Hope it's the right one for Steve's E-Type.

You're both trying very hard to make this work.

Thank God for the double check on the width.
My 2+2 is 22.125 inches.
Really appreciate you checking, it's a great offer.

Steve.
