Default Inlet Manifold Etype/420G/Mark X

Hi everybody,

I had a look onto topics and didn't found anything about this.
My US Etype is equiped with 2 strombergs. I would like to change it for an European version and use 3 Su.

I found the english carbs on a 420G. But i now have to find intake manifold and linkage. to do that, i try to figure out how are orginized the inlet references...

i found that :
Classic ETYPE MANIFOLD are SG-7162 C24558
Mark 10 and 420G seems to be C28311-8, SG75231-8 and SG7152

But what about these ones : SG-7246 C24420 and C23231-8 ?

I'm totally lost.
How to find my way with all these different inlet references ?

Thanks for your help
Oliver

If I'm not mistaken you can't use the MK-X manifold in an E-Type because of the angle that the engine is mounted at. The E-Type manifolds are "bent" to get clearance.

You are absolutely right cambo.
As in 50% of people who are selling manifold don't know where is it come from, i try to understand the references notes on inlet pipes.
