This post on the HP is a perfect example of why I just have to make it to Goodwood one of these years. Just look at Tom Kristensen hurling this race-prepped E Type through the bends! It really demonstrates just how much skill it takes to get the most out of an old performance car!

They guys on the HP found a much longer video that gives a lot more perspective of how awesome this is. Damn.

Great vids Johnny and many thanks for sharing. Reminds me of my DVD "E-Type; Anniversary Action", a 2 disk set covering the E-Type Challenge Series in 2011. This was contested at celebrated tracks across Europe, Britain and North America and featured some incredible in-car action from eventual winner, standout Brit driver, Jon Minshaw.
I particularly liked his last to first win at either Nurburgring or Silverstone where he managed to pass the entire field less a couple of front runners on the very first standing lap. Having briefly raced one of these nearly 40yrs ago, I know that is no mean feat. Your vid clips show just how twitchy these can be in less than ideal conditions . . . and even with modern modsports trickery.
At 3hrs runtime, my DVDs are far too long to link here but, for those interested, it is produced by BRG Multimedia Ltd (Oxfordshire?) and carries the code JAG002. However, my search online suggests all their DVD sales are now via Amazon.
Cheers,
