Default New 1973 Jag XKE V12 Roadster Owner/Member

Hey guys just wanted to introduce myself and my new baby girl

She's a 1973 Jaguar XKE V12 E Series III Roadster, Red with black interior, new engine, new fly wheel, new belts and hoses, new clutch, new tires and runs like a top. I'm in Southern Alberta, Canada, so if anyone can recommend someone good who can work on this car i would really appreciate it. Also any tips or tricks i should know about this car would be great too!

Here's a few pics of her

The main thing is to make sure the car gets some use throughout the year. It needn't be many miles, but cars this old need regular exercise if they're not to deteriorate. About 3000 miles per year should do it. Of course, living in Alberta may not make this possible with your snowfall. Don't let the car get anywhere near road salt !!

The all-aluminium engine demands the anti-freeze be always replaced at the prescribed intervals to make sure the corrosion inhibitors are still present and active. This is calendar based, not mileage.
