Hello All,
I finally was able to get an E-type. I took it to the mechanic who did a number of repairs to get it back to a reliable driver. I previously owned a 1967 420 which I dropped the rear end on and changed the brakes. I would like to find manuals so I can contemplate doing some of the suspension on the car myself.
Does anyone have a suggestion as to which manuals are best for a series 1 4.2?

Hi 2000CAXK8,
Congrats on getting the E-type. It's a very nice looking primrose E-type. I like the looks of the smoked headlight covers.
I would buy the Jaguar parts manual for the 4.2 E-type. It has almost every part of an e-type in it, illustrations and part numbers. It also has screw sizes and that can be helpful. You can buy it through JCNA here is a link

JCNA carries both parts and shop manual for a lot of Jaguar vehicles.
