Part Value?
Hello everyone, new to the forums here. I have a fast question about the value of an OEM dash for the E Type that is brand new. I'm not exactly sure where else I could get this information so I figured somebody here may have a clue. I am looking to get rid of it for a fair price so hopefully someone can steer me in the right direction. Thanks all!

All the new, OEM dashboards I've seen don't have the air ducts fitted or supplied. Accordingly, I wouldn't have one irrespective of how cheap it might be. Sorry.

Bill

Google "XKE parts" and you'll get a list of all the "usuals" and can get a reference baseline price for a new reproduction. Prices can vary wildly from vendor to vendor for the same part.
I haven't seen complaints about the quality of the reproduction dashes so I suspect to get appreciably more than what the usuals get you'll need to find someone for whom money is no object and is super **** about originality. That's in contrast to the horn button where the repros are generally considered to be very "wrong", original jacks get big bucks, original tools, or the reverse lights from early cars which apparently get stupid money.
Unfortunately, plastic ages and gets brittle and so, as with a new set of 1970 manufactured tires, road use may not be practical.
Good luck and welcome to the forum.
