Default Power Steering Reservoir Filter

So before I break something trying to get the reservoir open, is there a trick to opening?

No trick, it can just turn a bit hard, especially if it hasn't been off in quite a while. Don't worry too much if you break it as it's a GM (I believe) PS pump and you can find replacement caps at most McParts stores.

Thanks for the comment. I did eventually get it loose. It was the main top of the reservoir that was stuck.
Decades with the gasket not being moved glued it well in place.
