Default rebuilding rocker switches

on series 1.5, II, e type
Anyone had success at rebuilding rocker switches?
I am trying, cleaning contacts in various ways, but it seems the spring does not provide the thrust needed to hold roller against knife blades.
comments???

Hi wrischan,
I know there are rebuild kits available for rebuilding the rocker switches. I don't know of anyone who was really successful in having the witches last.
So, good luck and let us know how they turn out.
Bill.

Default Yes they can be rebuilt

You can rebuild them. Be careful expanding the crimps, disassemble and thoroughly clean everything then reassemble. I utilize dielectric grease to relubricate and carefully recrimp. The plastic google levers come in different qualities. As of today I don’t know who produces the better ones.
