I was in Bluffton, South Carolina over the new year. Whilst there I stumbled across an E type series 2 coupe tucked away in a corner of a car dismantlers. It had been there for a long time but was mainly intact - but somewhat rusty externally. I started a conversation with the owner of the establishment who told me that he had turned down 7000 dollars for it. He was not impressed that it would cost another 2000 to get it back to England! Then my wife, bless her, used her VETO. My elder brother said that if he wins the lottery, he will ship it back to me to keep me busy in my old age. I said I would sell it as it is and make a few shillings (or dollars)
