toasty feet
I picked up my new '68 E-type 2+2 last week, love the car but after driving for only 20 minutes, my feet are getting uncomfortably hot. I'm thinking it is coming from the exhaust under the floor pan. Are there heat shields or other aftermarket fixes out there to deal with this issue? Any suggestions from the experienced crowd would be helpful.

LizardSkin may be a good option if you want to keep the improvements invisible. You can use the the Dynamat Dynaliner type products but they are a little bulkier.
Good luck.

DEI has a really good rep. That product's (assuming that's the right one) first line of defense is to reflect infrared radiation with the aluminum face and then uses the glass insulation behind that to slow whatever gets past the aluminum. So it appears its primary use case is being installed outside the vehicle. In most cars that's not a problem but with Jaguar's patented rust prevention system it may be a challenge getting the adhesive to stick!
If you're planning on installing it on the inside you might want to check with them to see if there are any reductions in performance from being installed backwards.

$100 is only $100 but there are so many parts to buy with it! :-)
Good luck and be happy you don't have radiant heat from a Texas freeway compounding the heat on your tootsies!
