Also a new Belgian Jaguar forum member, living on the border between Belgium and the Netherlands, near Zelzate/Terneuzen.
I realise the last posting here is more than a year ago, but anyone looking for information on good Jaguar specialists in the area or just wants to talk about the X300 in general, feel free to send me a private message or post here (or if I can help with some second hand Jaguar parts, currently dismantling an XJ X300 for personal use).
Kind regards,
John

Hi,
Thank you. I considered an X350 too but the stories about electronics leading their own life, scared me a bit. But it was when I noticed it had an electronic handbrake, I decided to not take the risk. I had an electronic handbrake on my Lancia Thesis and it was extremely troublesome. I never knew when the car would drive because it blocked the rear wheels at random. Sometimes it went well for a few weeks and then all of the sudden I could not move the car. Spent a small fortune on that car.
Anyway, enjoy the X350 because it is the last classic looking Jaguar and from what I read, it drives superb thanks to the lightweight aluminium chassis and panels.

Hasselt-based XJ40
Hallo allemaal / Hi everybody.
I'm based in Hasselt and the proud owner of a 1989 XJ40.
You can read all about it on David's Car Blog (my personal blog dedicated to classic cars, with lots of Jaguar-related content).

Another one from Belgium!
Hi guys
I joined this forum today and I live in Herent (5 km from Leuven).
I've bought (but haven't received yet) a 10 year old XJ Diesel.
Looking forward to stay in contact.
BTW I quite frequently use jaguarforum.nl (and I know David does so to). Is anyone else of you using this Dutch forum?
