HELP!
I'm having a weird issue with the gear selector, it only rises after i start the car then turn it off then start it again and then the gear selector rises up. I was told by the dealer than i need to replace the gear selector unit which is a $800+labor job.
would think it would be an easier fix, i made a video on youtube showing the issue.
I am new to the forum. 😅

There are only two types of people who take their Jaguars to a dealer for repair. Those who have a car which is still covered by the warranty and those who have incredibly deep pockets.
I suggest you find an independent Jaguar mechanic in your area and ask for a second opinion before the problem worsens.
You posted this on the E-Pace forum and a hard reset was suggested. Have you tried this?

1. please identify your vehicle (Model and Year)
2. have the courtesy to introduce yourself in New Member Area - Intro a MUST forum telling us something about yourself and your vehicle
