The sticker on my 2018 F-Pace indicates parts components of origin as 58%German, 35% English, and 7% other. What components are German?

My short punch list:
Bosch steering/powertrain components
ZF transmission

Note the origin is only the country of origin of the parts produced. So, if Jag were to purchase engine components from Ford Powertrain USA, made in Germany, the manufactured location would carry over.

 

What is not given is the basis for that percentage. Is it percentage of cost, or of total of parts content ? When I had a 2003 XJ6 (X350 model), the door latches were of German origin. I know this because I had to replace one of them. People assume German equals perfection; well it ain't so ! Early ZF gearboxes in the X350 cars gave quite a lot of trouble, as did the Wabco air compressors for the suspension.

 

I think it's parts content. Since OP is presumably in Georgia, USA, NAFTA marking applies.
