Default Reintroduction and model change

Been a member here since I bought my first Jag back in Aug of 2012. Sold my second XF in April of this year and bought my Titan. Suffered all summer Jagless until yesterday. I just had to have an AWD supercharged V8.

So I flew down to Atlanta yesterday morning and bought a 5 month old 2019 F-Pace SVR. Corris Gray with almost every option. Signed on the bottom line and drove away with the 7yr/100K CPO warranty. Spent yesterday and today driving 800 miles back home.

Discovered a few minor issues on the way home, already fixed the rear wiper (was “clocked” one tooth off on the spindle and was not sitting level). Now I need to have the active exhaust looked into as it takes forever to adjust loud/quiet and the driver side heat blanket that protects the rear valance from melting is ripped and hanging down after driving on the highway.

First “upgrade” purchase (not really and upgrade but needed where I live) was waiting for me as I got home. Maxpider 3D floor mats.

Only have low res pics from the dealership website but here she is.

Tell me you bought it from Hennessy?

I flew down there on Sat, 11/23 from NJ to pick up a 10 month old Premium in Corris Grey and like yours. fully loaded.

When I returned home on Sun ordered the Maxpider Mats also.

Congrats.

I bought from South Atlanta JLR. Perfect since they are only 10 miles from ATL. They even picked us up at the airport in a XJL.

The mats fit great, should keep the carpets salt free.

I never heared of these mats, checekd it, looking great.
Sourced them : can only get them from manufacturer. They end up costing me $ 290 - due to $ 75 in -EU- taxes.. .. on floor mats ???
And there is $ 40 in shipping : its a long way to W-Europe. But it might be obvious I'll stick to the Mats that come with the car..

HMMM????

Lets say someone buys them in the USA and ships them to you.

These can be picked up off Amazon for $86 (US) shipped for front mats only.

Find out how much shipped from New Jersey to where you are?

@mpbfpace
Hi, I sourced a seller on ebay.co.uk , he sells the product for other models. I send them an email to see if he can deliver the ones for the F-Pace.
Also my daughter studies in the US, but she is right now flying back to Europe.

So if the seller can't help - its a German company, I life 80km from Germany, albeit it a large country- , my daughter could send it by mail.
But then it gets in the 'customs mill' and a company has to handlte the import through customs. This entails costs I've been told ; its not the
taxes that incur the cost. Its this 'paperwork through customs' thats so expensive. The cost for a container full are the same...

Bu I will survive without the mats also. I think you encounter simular problems if you import from another continent into the USA...
