Default Thermostat housing compatibility Jag VS LR

2017 FPace..380Hp V6 etc.

I have a small leak from what appears to be the T-stat housing. Problem is nobody seems to have the part AJ814048 in stock...its on back order with no date estimates from my local dealer.

We all know the commonality among jag and Landrover. So.....the SC v6 in those vehicles has a similar if not exact same housing..being part number . LR117568 (used on Velars....RR...etc)

Pics look identical...engines are identical.

Thermostat: LR117568, LR107288, AJ813986 and AJ814048

I used this site as a good cross reference.

I guess i will find out when i get the part!

I have little doubt the link I gave you on the F-Type sub-forum is to the exact part you need.
This link:
https://euro-amp.com/products/jaguar...rged-sc-engine
In the fitment chart it lists 2017 F-Pace 3.0 V6.

Got the part in...but....besides my best effort of knowing how fragile that plastic fitting is on the WP, it broke. Now waiting on the brass "upgrade" from ebay". It is so sad when you think that they really could make some bullet proof motors if they only used metal in areas where they used plastic. Any one of these small brittle plastic parts will put you on the side of the road.

Oh...and the O-RING in side the lower hose isn't available separately....gotta buy the whole hose...140 bucks. I only hope it was my T-sat hosing leaking and not the Oring. I guess i will find out.

O-rings are sort of a "generic" part. Many "industrial supply houses", like Graingers or McMaster-Carr sell them. All they'd need is a dimension, if you online order, or if there's a location of theirs near to you, just take the old one with you. They shouldn't be more than a couple dollars, each.

Brass update off ebay worked and so far no leaks or issues with my new Tstat housing.
