Re: 2015 Coupe V6S
Took my car to have the window metal trim repaired, it was lifting by the door jam on both sides common issue. During the repair, they ripped the window rubber seal so I had them replace it. The new rubber seal seems to have been installed properly but I have an annoying air leak very noticeable at above 70mph, I drive 80mph most of the time as my company is 2 hours from where I live. Dealer does not know what's wrong, they did adjust/closed the gap between the rear and front glass but that did not help.
I bought the car as a Prozac alternative, and it was a good decision as everytime I get at the wheel I leave my negative thoughts behind. Now, however with that annoying wind whistling noise, the enjoyment is gone. Dealer is Jaguar Troy so avoid these guys.
Any suggestions on how to fix? How can I get a hold of JLR? I'd like to talk to one of the seal trim engineers for options, I'm afraid I may end up selling the car as I can't deal with the annoying wind noise, car is out of warranty.

This is annoying and definitely not normal on these cars. I would start by using some painter's tape (which does not leave marks) and would seal over any possible causes, doing this selectively so that you can isolate the areas that might be the problem. If you have a helper you can get in the car and have the helper put the tape down the window edge after the door is closed because it might just be the glass against the seal of the rear side window or at the top. At speed the window glass tends to be pushed outwards slightly. Is your side window fitting tightly into the seal channel at the top (meaning at the roof)? The fit of the glass can be adjusted if this is the problem (bolts on the bottom of the door, I believe -but your dealer should know about this -and a good body shop can correct it). Do NOT think of selling the Jaguar because of this minor but annoying issue.
