The F-Type R has the High Performance brakes as standard with the Super Performance brakes as an option (putting aside the Carbon Ceramic brakes).
Both use the exact same 380 mm front rotors and calipers.
The F-Type S comes standard with the High Performance brakes and 19" rims.
So, putting 2 and 2 together, the 19" rims from the S will fit over the front calipers on the R.
But from my experience with XF and XFR rims and brakes, this only applies to F-Type 19" rims, that is XF 19" rims will not fit over the F-Type R front brake calipers.

Bit of an error here. The R comes standard with Super Performance brakes. The V6S comes with the High Performance brakes with Super Performance brakes as an option. However, the theory is the same as the 19" wheels should clear the brakes on the R if they clear the brakes on the V6S.

That said the only difference is the rear brakes and the calipers on those are not very large (hardly any bigger than the otherwise standard 326 mm calipers, it's all in the rotor diameter), so I suspect pretty much any stock F-Type rims will fit on the rear.

1. Any 19" Jaguar F-type wheel will fit your car.
2. Most GOOD aftermarket wheels will be lighter and stronger. I went with HRE because of their choices in design and color, they are exceptionally well made (in the USA if that matters to you) and they bolt right up without spacers or different lugs. HRE are more expensive than other aftermarket options, but I think you get what you pay for.

Drbill: You're 100% right, you get what you pay for. Especially with wheels.

Well, perhaps. I called up each 19' wheels thaat Jag shows on their Website. Everyone had this (or a similar) comment: "Not applicable for SVR. Not available with Jaguar carbon ceramic braking system (398mm front/380mm rear)."
But then I looked at several 20" wheels and they had the same disclaimer.
So what to think?
If it turns out that a wheel interfered by a small amount, say 1/8", I could probably grind that much off the caliper body without weakening it. Or, depending how the wheel is made, I could space it out a small amount, say <1/4".
I've thought about making a plywood mockup of the brake flange -- rotor setup, so that one could drop it in a wheel and see if there's interference. But I'm afraid that many vendors don't actually have the wheels in hand, so they couldn't try a wooden mockup.
Ultimately, I may have to spend lots of time on the phone with wheel vendors. I did email one, who replied that he couldn't guarantee fit.

I do not have an SVR. I do have an R with "carbon ceramic matrix braking system."
Nati, I was confused regarding these two terms. I'm looking at my window sticker that says "carbon ceramic matrix braking system" under the Optional Equipment column. It also says "Super Performance Braking System" under the Standard Equipment column. I would interpret this to mean that the car has the ceramic brakes, the Options column having precedence over the Optional Equipment column. My mistake.
So the question remains (in my mind, anyway) as to aftermarket wheels fitting w/o modification, or Jag wheels with some acceptable degree of caliper modification.

It sounds like you indeed have the carbon brake package. Your calipers should be yellow and say "carbon ceramic" on them. Incidentally, that was $12,000 added to the price of your R :-)
No OEM 19" wheels will fit over the fronts, and I think it would be nigh impossible to find aftermarket 19s that would as well. The only OE 20s that will fit are the Storms (which you have) and the Maelstroms that come standard on the SVR. And please don't modify $12,000 brakes :-)

Well, if I were to stick to the 20" wheels, are there aftermarket wheels that are significantly lighter?
And as to tires, I read somewhere that the new PSS tires may ride better, may be quieter, and offer at least as good traction as the P-Zeros. Any ideas about this? Or other tire recommendations?
