Default 2014 f type base model exhaust

Am I able to easily upgrade to "switchable" active exhaust? I do not have a button and I'm unable to see any valves on the exhaust. Thank you

Of course you could, but its not that easy..plus expen$ive.

You would need the new muffler assembly, a couple switches for the shifter console, wiring, and vacuum tubing to the engine. (Vacuum does the actual switching)

+++++++

There was a Topic here a few years go about someone who had cut open their muffler and welded a 'straight-pipe' inside. That isn't switchable of course but it might be the path of least resistance. Couldn't find it, maybe someone else can search better than me. Lots of pics and discussion.

It's not practical with OEM components; the switchable exhaust valves are welded on the muffler and can't be purchased separately. You might look at VAP's offerings, I believe they offer a switchable exhaust system. In any case, you'd be looking at $1K+.
