2015 to 2016 Quality Differences

Yep, and you can add 14s into that observation as well. It does appear that the door/dash seam mis-match results from assembly variability of the dash. It appears to vary slightly in height when installed, and perhaps they need a new QC check on the proper spec before torquing it down.
I also see a fair amount hood, nose, and side-panel seam variability on all 3 model years. However, that issue is easily remedied under warranty by a good body-shop.

I've run across only minor issues with my 2016. The only obvious workmanship defects I've found are:
A few months ago I discovered, that the top plastic rivet (not really a rivet, but a barbed, press-in fastener) on the door weatherstripping was not in place on either side.
Yesterday, I was looking into why the left headlight seemed to jiggle slightly on rough pavement and found that neither of the two bolts at the rear of the nose piece, directly behind the headlight, was in place. One had fallen down and was captive by the blanking plug in the access hole, and the other is just gone. I'll be stopping by the dealer on my way to work tomorrow.
