Question 2015 F-Type production numbers...?

Does anyone have any information on what the total production numbers will be for the Coupes...?
I have tried to do some research and ask questions but I haven't found any answers...

Having taken a tour of the f-type production line (which it shares with the XK), I'd guess at a couple of hundred cars in 24 hrs.

By comparison, I visited the Mini production line in 2005. They've since increased production a lot, but at the time they were producing over 400 cars per shift...

only thing I've been able to find are the press releases like this for June Jaguar Land Rover Reports U.S. Sales for June 2014

For the month of June, the Jaguar F-TYPE added 428 units. But no breakdown of convertible vs coupes, breakdown of trim levels, etc. I'm guessing the breakdown is 50/50 plus or minus? So 200 something coupes per month.

On another website, we posted our serial numbers, which is the end of the VIN. I imagine the coupe has different S/Ns than the convertible, since the VIN should indicate it's a coupe (I think.)

(My V6S convertible is #2622, delivered June of 2013.)

body style, engine, etc are coded in positions 4-8 in the VIN. the last 6 characters (serial #) would be sequential regardless of it being a coupe/convertible

Thumbs up Thanks guys...

Well seemingly almost everyone is buying the R model coupe, I would be curious to see a breakdown of sales by model.

I'm guessing 6,000-7500 coupes for the year but I could be wrong...what do you guys think?

total world wide coupe numbers, maybe 6-7k. US for 2014, I'm guessing 1-2k at most for 2014. If you do a search on cars.com there's only 285 coupes in all of the US. Maybe another 300 have sold, so that's 600. With 5-6 months left in 2014, can't see Jag selling more than 1k.

No idea of the overall breakdown of sales, but when I picked up my car last week, I asked my dealer what they were seeing as far as sales of the F-type. They were seeing a roughly 50/50 split between V8 and base V6 models and almost no V6S sales. I didn't ask about the breakdown between coupe and convertible.

OK thanks...guess I'm pretty close in my guess.

Pretty exclusive company then I would guess...that must account for the reason why I haven't seen any on the road, lol!
